The SAM Pelvic Sling is designed to reduce and stabilize in the field. The patented AUTOSTOP buckle controls compressive force automatically, preventing over- or under-tightening. It is indicated when pelvic fracture is suspected following trauma and is built for rapid field application by EMS and first responders.

Q3 Are SAM Medical splints radiolucent?

Yes. SAM Medical splints are radiolucent and do not obscure x-ray imaging. Hospital staff can assess a broken bone or fracture through the splint without removing it first, reducing unnecessary movement of the injured body part before evaluation.
